Amy - Japanese Culture Hub

AMY - Japanese Culture Hub was founded by a group of devoted Japanese educators and Vietnamese new-Gen team, established its first base located in Nha Trang, Vietnam. In 2019, AMY aims to operate four main programs: Robotech, Sorotouch, Kid Club and Practical Japanese Language for learners from kids to adolescents and young adults applied Blended Learning (ブレンディッド・ラーニング; or, sometimes, called Hybrid Learning - ハイブリッド学習) approach to all programs.

In the long run, Amy Hub is a place to promote Japanese culture values and knowledge through on-site activities welcoming all visitors to come and enjoy the real Japan ambience at local.

Learning management system

The form of a class is divided into groups of up to 10 students per group and the students perform independent study right at the center according to each assigned topic.

Each learner has their own characteristics, as it is said that ten people own ten different colors. Their strengths and weaknesses are significantly different. It is crucial to reflect each student carefully and give them specific guidance.The students’ capacity is improved "when you learn by yourself". A proper instruction is essential for the self-study process.

Japanese spirit in everything

At Amy Japanese Culture Hub, the Japanese spirit, code of conduct, and way of thinking will be integrated throughout lessons, teaching methods, and activities. Amy JCH focuses on 4 key programs: 

• Robotech: to help children develop logical thinking, critical thinking, teamwork skills and communication skills through assembling, programming and operating robots; 
• Sorotouch: this is a brain-development game for the early-age to maximize the power of both left and right brain;
• Japanese language for Study & Work: the learners can enjoy studying practical Japanese language adopted the latest syllabus called Maguruto - “Japanese Language and Culture” developed by the Japan Foundation;
• Kid Club: opens frequently every Saturday and Sunday with reading, mediation, singing, drawing activities to awake children’s calmness and nurture the loving energy inside children’s soul.
  

The power of active learning

English idiom said that "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink". It means that no matter how much the surrounding environment supports a person, if he himself does not try, it will not work at all. In short, when the learners themselves do not carry the "want-to-learn" motivation for their study, there is absolutely no result.
