Japanese Language Course - 語学コース
* Suitable for students - students who want to study abroad or work in Japan *
This course is designed based on the main Marugoto curriculum of the Japan Foundation for Cultural Exchange - Japan Foundation to equip students with comprehensive knowledge of Japanese language and culture. The course requires a high level of self-study of students, through online programs, group exercises, games, class activities and presentation topics. In addition, students will learn with distance teachers in Hanoi, Saigon and Japan through the e-learning platform "SORA".
The program focuses on improving communication capacity in common everyday situations. In addition, through individual and group exercises, students can revise the way Japanese is used in communication. As a result, improve Japanese language comprehensively including all four skills: listening - speaking - reading - writing.
Course Outline
Includes 18 lessons and 2 tests. Students are required to complete one lesson per week including 4 class sessions.
Session 1 - Self-study session (no time limit):
> Learners self-study at the center, and submit assignments.
Session 2 (90 minutes):
> Students will review the lesson and participate in activities with the instructor.
Session 3 (90 minutes):
> Students learn sentence structure and grammar with online teachers.
Session 4 (90 minutes):
> Practice students speak to their teacher online and get homework.

One of the obstacles is that the purpose of studying as well as teaching Japanese is to pass the Japanese language proficiency tests.
Another reason is that teachers are too passionate about the action - "teaching the language" instead of seeing the language as something “to be created and to be practiced”.
